Pippy's home!
It's true, Pippy is finally home! After a quick turn around, Pippy's condition improved so much that we were able to take him home yesterday evening! I would have posted this news yesterday, but we were slightly preoccupied with our furry friend ;).

Pippy is doing great thus far; he's been extremely tired and sleeping most of the time, but occasionally the old mischievous Pippy comes out. The doctor told us "Pippin shouldn't be jumping around onto tables, counter tops, etc, until he heals a bit more".... well, Pippy had other ideas because he broke that rule 2 minutes after coming home!
We can tell he his understandably weak though - he tried to jump on to the kitchen countertop like he normally would, but only made it 90% of the way and fell back down :( He's ok though... he just suffered a minor dent to his enormous ego. Given Pippy's personality, he's going to need constant supervision over these next few days so he remains calm and content, as opposed to his normal crazy self.
Well, this is it for us. As the captors, we feel it's time that we finally turn it back over to the true master of this site - Pippy. In the next few days, I'm sure he'll want to get back on track of reaching his goal of world domination - regardless of how ridiculous that sounds.
- "The Captors", signing off for hopefully a long, long time
P.S. Thank you to everyone that has sent us emails, messages, donations and comments lending your support during these tough times. We've gained incredible comfort from your kindness, which has made this week much more manageable. Our friends and family have been astonished by the support everyone has shown Pippin and both of us. We're not sure how to repay everyone considering the numbers involved, so we're thinking of doing charity work ourselves!
